Adult Ministry

 

"For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, 'Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,' that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, 'Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,' that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body." 1 Cor 12: 14-20

 

The church is made up of many different people with different gifts and abilities. We want everyone to find the place that God wants them to serve. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians, we need each part of the "body."

 

There are several areas in which to get involved in the church including:

~ Teaching Sunday School

~ Choir and Praise Team

~ Technology (TV and Music during Sunday service)

~ Volunteering in different ministries such as Food Bank, Children's and Youth Ministries, etc.

~ ZUMBA Exercise Classes (see Events page for times)

~ Chair Exercise Classes (see Events page)

~ Participation in one of the several clubs such as Garden Club, Women on Mission, Mother Wise, etc.

There are always events going on at First Baptist to get involved with throughout the year. Keep checking the newsletter, bulletin, or website to find out about them!

 

 

We also offer Sunday School classes that serve to a wide variety of groups.

Sunday School is held every Sunday at 9:00 am.
